Theatre. Community. Voice. Power. 🎭

Meet Jessica "Decky" Alexander — professor of drama/theatre education at Eastern Michigan University and Director of Engage@EMU — and she's bringing ALL of that energy to our March 19th stage.

Decky has spent her career using theatre and performance to give voice to the underheard. Her work spans everything from community performances to faculty development to programs that keep kids away from substance abuse. And through it all? She keeps showing up for the people who most desperately need to be seen.

What does that have to do with confidence? Everything.

When you learn to use your voice — really use it — it changes the way you walk into every room. We have a feeling Decky's going to remind all of us of that on March 19th. 👏
