Washtenaw Community College | Morris Lawrence Building
We are all bound to fail in life, repeatedly. The old cliche, “In life, nothing is certain but death and taxes” should be altered to include “and that you will fail at something.” However, we have developed into a society that is fearful of failing, despite that it is an inevitable and even a valuable part of our personal and professional growth.
This workshop is intended to help us erase the stigma of failure and reclaim the word. The goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where we identify our reactions to failure, reflect on our own perceptions and misconceptions, and discuss how sharing our experiences of failure can significantly improve our ability to find acceptance and healing.
Please note: the workshop’s facilitator is sharing personal experiences, and is not a counselor, therapist, or life coach. We will provide information for these resources at the event.
Join us on Thursday, May 15 for a thoughtful and introspective discussion.
Please note: Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, we will only accept advance registrations for this event. No walk-ins will be allowed.
